1/2" Foam Board Mounted Maps
Extra Thickness for Added Support
1/2" foam board is a thicker mounting board, available on request. Your laminated map is mounted onto the board for extra rigidity, which helps large maps resist bowing. The laminated face works with dry-erase markers and Mark-It Dots. 1/2" foam board is compatible with all of our frame styles and with magnetic maps. Contact a Map Specialist to add 1/2" foam board to your mounted map order.
When to Choose 1/2"
Choose 1/2" foam board for large-format maps and maps that are handled often. For most maps, our standard 3/16" foam board is enough. If you need a dent-resistant surface, choose gator board.
